After a 13-month engagement, actors Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez tied the knot in California on Saturday, Dec. 29, Us Weekly can confirm.

The couple met in early 2010 as costars on the ABC pilot The Matadors, which wasn't picked up to series. "She is the most amazing woman in the world," Gilford, 30, raved of Sanchez, 36, during the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in 2012.

This is the first marriage for Gilford and the second for Sanchez, who divorced from writer and film director Zach Helm. The newlyweds were both born and raised in Illinois.

Gilford -- best known for playing quarterback Matt Saracen on NBC's Friday Night Lights -- most recently starred in the FOX series Mob Doctor, which was canceled after 13 episodes. He next stars opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie The Last Stand, premiering Jan. 18, 2013. Gilford's other TV and film credits include Off the Map, In Our Nature and Post Grad. Sanchez, who previously appeared on ABC's Lost, currently stars in A&E's The Glades.

@Newbie; Thanks and honestly, it was a great blessing to be on that show. The entire main cast were really good, wise, funny yes, humble people. When the show cancelled it was very difficult as this had been my extended family, some for 4 years! I miss all of them along with Peter (Berg), Tony, Jake our crew so dearly!!! @Thornrose; E is fairly reliable so who knows!?! Zach didn't know last time we spoke as even though he is also respectful and reserved, he would have yelled it from the mountain tops! So this is very interesting. Yet it really is up to the Mama to be in announcing such things, right? :o) No matter what, Zach would be the best Dad so I hope it's true!! God Bless to everyone have a safe, loving happy New Year. And as I have no doubt 'new' Mama Connie B., Kyle, Aimee, Taylor, Zach, etc. (!!!) would agree... this wish comes from the (former) FNL cast. Our sincere thanks and best wishes always.

Who needs US Mobile, when we have @skibirdie. That's cool that he's a nice guy, I'm not familiar with either of them. I haven't seen any of the shows they're on. Congratulations to them anyway, hope they make it.

Zach is a great, funny kind man...and we knew of his engagement w/in a half hour as he kindly told us!! He was my 'co-worker' for 3+ seasons (years) on FNL. Even though my role rarely had us sharing same set, we almost always filmed on same day so shared transportation usually with Taylor Jess.' Our trailers were close too- so Zach, Taylor, Jesse his 2 dogs and I would hang out. Bottom line is I am so HAPPY for them and at last check-in she was NOT pregnant!!!
