Tom Arnold is about to take on a new role -- dad! The True Lies star, 53, announced Friday, Jan. 18, that he and wife Ashley Groussman are expecting their first child, a baby boy, in March.

The ecstatic papa-to-be broke the happy news during a guest co-hosting stint on The View. "I'm pregnant," he joked. "I have put on, like, 40 pounds. My wife is pregnant too. We're having a baby."

Arnold's excitement is well-earned. The actor -- who was married three times before tying the knot with Groussman, 37, in 2009 -- has struggled with infertility issues for several years. And this pregnancy didn't come easily. He and his wife endured several rounds of in vitro fertilization before learning that they would welcome a baby this spring. But it was all worth it.

"We're really happy. I didn't think it was in the cards for me, to be honest, and so I was completely shocked," Arnold said on The View. "It's a miracle."
