Are Bentley's mom and dad getting back together?

Teem Mom's Ryan Edwards popped the question to his ex and mother of his son, Maci Bookout**, on Twitter very early Thursday, Dec. 20.

"Maci Bookout marry me!" Edwards tweeted.

Bookout and Edwards have been coparenting and sharing custody of son Bentley, 4, since he was born. The former couple now find themselves single at the same time. (Bookout split from boyfriend Kyle King in September, and Edwards confirmed on Twitter Dec. 12 that he split from girlfriend Dalis Connell.)

But that doesn't mean they're back together. Bookout was completely surprised by Edwards' Twitter proposal. "Ur s--t got hacked BRO!" she responded. "Outta ur mind haha."

But Edwards said he "would never let that happen." When Bookout asked him what he meant, Edwards replied, "It means that I want to get on one knee and tell you how much I love you."

Did Bookout accept his proposal? Not quite.

"Twitter is not the place," she told him. "Ima kill u."

But Edwards might not be backing down. Shortly after, he tweeted, "Never give up on what you believe is right... no matter what gets in the way!" and Bookout retweeted the statement.

He's just doing this stunt so he don't look bad in court, because he made himself look stupid. But then again it could be his parents idea to pop the question so the family don't look bad in public.

You know thats what maci wanted since day one,but ryan was so immature and really just a jerk.maybe he grew up and realized whats really important in life,and wants to get on the right track with his family.thatd be great!bentley would love that!hope they do and it works out

Its a bad idea. He's been nasty to her and its tacky to propose on social media. It is her choice though. If you do get back together, good luck. A child does love to see their parents together! But, at the same time, she doesn't deserve to get talk down on the way he did.

I hope ryan doesnt want to marry her so she wont take bently out of state to california. He is still sneaky maci! And jealous of her new job!

With all of the talk about her wanting to move to California and maybe getting her own spinoff show, could it be for a storyline? I guess with all of these reality shows being somewhat scripted, I'm skeptical to hear news like this. A couple of teen moms get new boyfriends and have breakups every other week it seems.
