Taylor Swift and Harry Styles** are clearing having the time of their lives, and they've never felt this way before.

The singer-songwriter, 22, and the One Direction hunk, 18, have been increasingly open about their fledgling romance -- and at a party in NYC Dec. 3, the talked-about twosome demonstrated their growing affection with an iconic dance!

In a Twitter photo that's been circulating on the internet, the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" chanteuse and her new man recreated the "Dirty Dancing lift" while other revelers look on.

In the shot, believed to have been taken at One Direction's afterparty for their Madison Square Garden concert, Styles makes like Patrick Swayze** and lifts Swift (in the Jennifer Grey** role) high in the air as she leans her head back in ecstasy.

Indeed, the cinematic moment was just one of many for the twosome, who spent the first weekend of December together in NYC.

"Taylor calls him her boyfriend, but it's in the early stages," a source tells Us Weekly.

Says another insider: "Taylor's a dream girl for Harry: pretty, smart and wise."

Still, those close to the country-pop phenom worry that, once again, the too-swiftly-moving Swift will get her heart broken.

"It's the same Taylor story," another pal says. "It has tragedy written all over it."
