Taylor Swift looked effortlessly cool in a plunging white figure-hugging Ralph Lauren gown on the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live red carpet at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

With her blond bangs smoothed back from her forehead, the 23-year-old songstress looked poised amid recent news that she and beau Harry Styles**, 18, have parted ways.

The country singer took to the stage to accept her award for Favorite Country Artist early in the evening, but presenter Olivia Munn, who previously joked that Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" song was about her, wasn't so eager to part with the statue.

"This always happens," Swift joked gamely as Munn snatched the trophy back from her, referring to the time Kanye West** infamously interrupted Swift's MTV Video Music Awards acceptance speech in 2009.

"And it will always happen," Munn deadpanned, before finally letting go of the award.

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer was first spotted post-split in the Pacific Palisades, Calif. on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Her One Direction ex, meanwhile, is currently back in his native London, having touched down on Monday, Jan. 7.

The pair reportedly split after having an argument during their British Virgin Islands holiday getaway.

"They had a fight," an insider told Us Weekly of the short-lived romance, adding that Styles "said something he shouldn't have …This [breakup] is definitely going to be for good."

On Wednesday, Swift thanked her fans for their support.

"I want to thank you for caring about my music, and for caring about me," she said during her acceptance speech. "Thanks so much you guys, I love you."

Im not sure who writes this poop but cleavage is the 'crack' that seperates two tatas... I see none of that.. there for no cleavage and not a good look for her either

She's 23, not 40. Toddlers, really? She dates people in her circle. Get over it. If she doesn't write about her life, what should she write about? Being in da club like all of the other stupid songs we hear?

That's what is motivating her to write songs and its obviously working! I say who gives a duck about who, and how long she dates someone. as long as she keeps putting out singles that's all that matters.

I guess for most people it wouldn't be such a big deal if she wasn't dating toddlers! Maybe she mentally or emotionally handle the expectations of grown men, but teenage boys tend to have a higher *** drive (although they hump like rabbits) Taylor needs to find a happy medium, she won't be considered so sweet and innocent for much longer. We all grow have to grow up Taylor, even you!
