From getting engaged to welcoming her first baby and then wrapping MTV's Jersey Shore, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi sure had an eventful 2012.

However, judging by her Twitter posts on New Year's Eve, the pint-size MTV star is even more excited to usher in 2013. In a lovey-dovey message to her fiance Jionni LaValle, Snooki told her son's father that she's anxious to end their nine-month engagement -- and get married already.

"I LOVE U! Ur amazing and you made my 2012 AMAZING!" Snooki, 25, tweeted to her fiance. "Thank u for giving me Lorenzo, I love my family. NOW LETS GET MARRIED!" (The couple announced their pregnancy and engagement exclusively in Us Weekly in March 2012.)

Monday's New Year's Eve festivities will be decidedly less wild for Snooki, who will host MTV's coverage live from Times Square. Once Jersey Shore's resident party girl, Snooki now says motherhood has mellowed her. "[My friends and I] got closer just because I'm not going crazy all the time," the new mom has said. "I'm kind of the responsible one!"

Snooki has also left quite an impression on her fiance, who also reflected on his family's past year. "In the past I may not have wanted to remember the years, but 2012 getting engaged to Nicole and having Lorenzo I will never forget!" LaValle tweeted.
