Little Louis Bardo has good taste! Sandra Bullock**'s son is only 3 years old, but he already has quite an eye for expensive jewelry. A source tells Us Weekly that the adorable tot helped choose his mom's accessories for the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24.

The Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close actress, 38, sparkled on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in a gorgeous, fully embroidered cap-sleeve gown by Elie Saab, complemented by Harry Winston jewels -- including a piece or two selected by her little boy. According to the insider, Louis singled out the baubles while playing around at one of Bullock's dress-fittings with her stylist.

"Sandra really wanted to wear the rings her son picked for her," the source tells Us of the star, who has been a doting mother ever since adopting Louis in 2010. (Bullock originally planned to adopt the tot with ex-husband Jesse James but changed her plans when the couple split following James' infidelity.)

Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar in 2010 for her role in The Blind Side. She'll next appear with Identity Thief star Melissa McCarthy in The Heat, a comedy about an FBI agent and a detective who have to team up to take down a mob boss.
