Famous overachiever and recent third-time mom Reese Witherspoon is finally learning to take it slow and easy -- at least when it comes to getting back in pre-pregnancy shape.

The actress, who gave birth to son Tennessee James Toth just two months ago, received the Grace Kelly Award for being a model mom at the 7th Annual March of Dimes Celebration of Babies on Dec. 7 in Beverly Hills. Speaking to Extra at the event, Witherspoon said of her efforts to lose weight: "I don't know if I'm bouncing back. I'm slowly crawling back. You know, all of your joints feel wobbly, and your head is sort of confused."

"You just have to be gentle and patient with yourself and just sort of, you know…slowly get back to your health," she continued.

Contrary to her comments, the hardworking star, who will be recording a duet with Michael Buble for his next album, looked supremely svelte in a pretty black cocktail dress.

Witherspoon also raved about her new son -- "he's great, he's wonderful, healthy, happy, so great" -- and shared her family's holiday preparation plans: making their own gingerbread houses and Christmas ornaments.

Other attendees at the event included new moms Hilary Duff and Megan Fox.
