What happens in Amsterdam stays in Amsterdam. Unless, of course, you document it on Instagram like Chris Brown** did.

The 23-year-old "Don't Wake Me Up" singer, currently in the Netherlands to perform a show at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on Dec. 6, has been enjoying some of the city's local attractions -- namely, its famed "coffee shops," where marijuana and hash are openly sold, smoked and consumed.

In a series of photos posted on Instagram, Brown and several of his buddies are seen lighting up at Green House Amsterdam, one of the most successful cannabis businesses in the world. (Other star customers include Jason Mraz and Wiz Khalifa.)

One snapshot shows Rihanna's possibly on-again boyfriend with not one, not two, but three joints in his mouth. "Oh don't worry," the caption reads. "It's medicinal!!"

In another photo, Brown displays some of the store's Cannabis Cups -- annual awards given by High Times for the best marijuana -- by balancing one on his knit cap-covered head and holding another out for the camera. He is joined in the picture by a Green House staffer named Joachim, who has his own Instagram account.

Yet another shot, posted on Joachim's page, shows the R&B star preparing to inhale from an oil rig filled with cannabis concentrate, a process also known as "dabbing."

Brown's Instagram account has been getting a lot of attention lately, in part because he's been inactive on Twitter but also because of the nature of his photos. On Dec. 2, the singer shared a sexy photo of himself hanging out with Rihanna, who is shown wrapped in a camouflage blanket and wearing little more than a bra and underwear.

"Me and her have history, and me and her are definitely always going to be best of friends," he told Power 106 radio host Big Boy last month. "We're working on our friendship now."
