No Doubt has decided to remove its "Looking Hot" music video from YouTube after receiving complaints from fans and the Native American community. In the Melina Matsoukas-directed video, frontwoman Gwen Stefani, 43, wore traditional Native American clothing while being tied to poles and fighting cowboys.

"As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures. Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history," Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont explained on the band's official website. "Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that we have offended people. This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately."

The band added, "The music that inspired us when we started the band, and the community of friends, family, and fans that surrounds us was built upon respect, unity and inclusiveness. We sincerely apologize to the Native American community and anyone else offended by this video. Being hurtful to anyone is simply not who we are."

"Looking Hot" is the second official single from the band's latest album, Push and Shove.

All art forms are bound to offend someone. However... Native Americans have taken too much degradation and humiliation so they deserve a free pass on this one.

I love you, Gwen :D people are just too sensitive these days. There was a show that made a racist comment about Puerto Ricans, but I didn't get offended one bit. It was very funny, just saying!

Its only because the lead singer is Caucasian, there are other ethnicitys in the group, this isn't Gwen out on her own it's No Doubt. And don't be too quick to assume my ethnicity and background, my grandfather who is in his 90'sopinion is Cherokee, and I absolutely was not offended. Nobody likes the truth about what's really going on in the world with racism it comes in all forms but when things like this happen it makes people more aware of the idiots out there and it makes everything worse. People need to learn tolerance and need to know not everything is about them. People who complain like this for no good reason think everything is about them and is directed towards them in one way or another and garbage like this happens

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but never said that those movies are okay. All was said is video is no worse. So u can call someone racist but maybe u should learn how to read before u stick ur foot in ur mouth. Illiterate ****
