Mitt Romney, Wife Ann See Breaking Dawn - Part 2 on Casual Weekend Date Night
November 19, 2012

What do you do after finishing an unsuccessful run for President of the United of States? If you're Mitt Romney, you see the new Twilight movie.

The former Republican candidate -- who lost the election to President Barack Obama on Nov. 6 -- enjoyed some post-campaign downtime with his wife, Ann, on a date to see The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 on Saturday night. They were joined by two young men.

TMZ spotted the group -- sans bodyguards -- leaving a movie theater in Del Mar, Calif., where they reportedly caught a showing of the fifth and final film in Stephenie Meyer's smash vampire series. (Incidentally, Meyer and Romney have at least one thing in common: Both are Mormon.)

After the movie, the Romneys headed across the street to a local pizza joint. A source told TMZ the former governor of Massachusetts was super friendly and even posed for pictures with a few his fellow diners.

Breaking Dawn - Part 2, which stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson**, opened Friday and raked in approximately $141.3 million at the weekend box office, making it the eighth biggest opening of all time.

It's sweet that a couple who's been married for over 40 years still go out on date nights.

Funnyppl: oh, darling, I'm not crying anything over Mitt not winning. I am laughing at Obama and his watching the unemployment rate creep ever higher, watching people shutting down employees over Obamacare, watching him cater to the Muslims, watching Wall Street drop like a precipice the day after his election, the imaginary 'war on women'. Oh my, the list goes on. I at least have peace of mind that I didn't vote for him either time. I have washed my hands of it:) and for the record, yes, we could have done better than Romney...and didn't.

Miss you Mitt - now we are left with all the takers in this country who want free stuff. Women want their free contraception, minorities want their free phones, illegals want free citizenship, and students want free education. You liberal morons think Obamacare means free health care don't you?

That's nice. I could see why the Romney's went, the characters are people they like...pasty pale skin, who suck the life out of people. I could totally see the Obama's going, too. They have tween daughters so I'm sure they're hip to twilight.
