Stop: Hammertime . . . with Kelly and Dylan!
On Thursday Nov. 29, Jennie Garth had a casual coffee reunion in North Hollywood with an old friend: Luke Perry.
Meeting up with her former Beverly Hills, 90210 costar -- their characters Kelly Taylor and Dylan McKay endured a pained on-and-off romance on the beloved 90s teen soap -- Garth, 40, and Perry, 47, chatted at Cafe Aroma for a few hours. And single mom Garth made sure the klatsch was unforgettable -- thanks to some eye-popping pants!
The Little Bit Country star channeled M.C. Hammer's iconic "U Can't Touch This" era, wearing super-baggy pants with an elaborate graphic black-and-white pattern plus high-top sneakers; she complemented the late-80s hip hop look with a puffy black jacket and slouched beanie hat.
As for the nature of Garth and her former onscreen love's relationship nowadays? A rep for the actress shot down rumors of a romance with Perry back in August; indeed, the twosome are developing a sitcom together.
"It will be a multi-camera half hour show, currently we have producers and writers and are meeting with networks," Garth's rep explained.
But Garth has jumped back into the dating pool after she and Peter Facinelli announced their split in March of this year about 11 years of marriage. The slimmed-down blonde has gone out with HGTV star Antonio Ballatore, photographer Noah Abrams and Jason Clark, an insurance ex over the past several months.
Indeed, Perry would love to play matchmaker for his longtime pal. "He keeps saying he wants to because he doesn't approve of my choices so far," Garth recently said.
