Why didn't Kristen Stewart get any ice cream?

The actress, 22, visited Jon Stewart on The Daily Show Thursday to promote her latest film On the Road. In August, the host welcomed her then-estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson** on the show for his very first interview after Kristen cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders**.

Jon, 50, greeted the heartbroken Pattinson, 26, with some ice cream, and joked, "Boy, you are better off. Kick her to the curb."

The Twilight heartthrob didn't end up taking Jon's advice, and reconciled with Stewart shortly after the scandal. (Kristen issued a public apology to Pattinson saying, "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.")

But unlike Jon's attitude towards actor Hugh Grant, Kristen isn't holding a grudge against the host for his comments. She happily greeted the host Thursday, saying, "Thanks for having me. This is cool. I can't believe I'm sitting at this desk right now."

Jon praised Kristen's work in On the Road -- especially her dance moves in a party scene with costar Garrett Hedlund.

"I was pretty scared of that scene," Kristen admitted. "My moments are pretty few and far between where I really get to exhibit pure, wild nature, exuberance."

"She definitely needed to represent what the 'it' of On the Road is," the actress explained of her seductive character Marylou, the 16-year-old wife of Dean Moriarty (Hedlund).

"It's a terrific performance," Jon told her. "For a novel that they say is unfilmable, you guys did a hell of a job. So nice work."

Dont like her. She cant act. She looks like a kid with a kids body. I would like to see her try to play the part of a happy, energetic person. Lol I'll bet she couldnt do it. She is just an awkward person that has good PR people.

She handle herself well,she probably knew abt Robert P. Interview w/ jon s. ,so she knew that(Job stewart) as a reporter/ tlk show host that his job was to attempt to ask Rob abt. The scandal...she took it, n learned from the mistake n she move on, so I would of guess if that was topic was brought out she would have answer wisely or not comment at all. Good thing she just went there to do her interview. (:

True - Kscrew is not agood actress. She found out from the time she was 9 that all she has to do is read her lines as if she would if she were in school and the rest of the film crew will take care of stuff. She got lucky to have grown cute, with a family in the movie business. If she were ugly the poor Kscrew would just have to be a normalno-specisal-talents lady, who helps you at the DMV or the doctor

She looks sick she needs to gain some weight and her hair is horrible everything about her annoys me and she's not the good of an actress in my opinion

She is getting too thin and gaunt. She could've used the ice cream. People are so unforgiving of her, she is young and made a stupid mistake. Many other celebs have made the same mistakes, most older-lots male) who never face half the backlash

Ticket prices don't change bc of scandal. What planet are you from? While I've never seen any of her movies, I have seen interviews that this girl has done and my God is she boring. To look at, to listen to... She should limit her public appearances. They don't do her any favors. Yawn.
