Us Weekly Mobile - Celebrity News - Kristen Bell to Appear On Gossip Girl's Final Episode: Report

According to a report by TV Line, Bell -- who has served as Gossip Girl's mysterious narrator since the program debuted in 2007 -- is "likely" to make an appearance on the CW drama's Dec. 17 finale. (TV Line cites a "rumor" that Bell, who is currently expecting her first child with fiance Dax Shepard, filmed her cameo earlier this year.)

The CW and Warner Bros. would not comment on the matter -- although Bell's rumored appearance gives fans even more to work with as they attempt to sort through the clues and uncover Gossip Girl's true identity. (Producers confirmed last month that the blogger behind Gossip Girl would finally be revealed on the show's final episode. Still, that doesn't necessarily mean Bell's character is the vindictive, pot-stirring force fans have been waiting to meet.)

A few hours before news of the House of Lies star's rumored appearance broke Nov. 9, Bell tweeted that she had just recorded her final voice-over for the series.

"The saddest day I've had in a while," she wrote. "Last day on #gossipgirl. I'll miss you, you snarky bitch."
