Jelena has gone their separate ways.

After nearly two years of dating, multiple sources close to the pair confirmed to Us Weekly Friday that Justin Bieber, 18, and Selena Gomez, 20, have split.

In December 31, 2009, Bieber serenaded his friend and fellow performer Gomez to his hit "One Less Lonely Girl" during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in Las Vegas.

Rumors slowly started swirling that the teen stars were an item, but Gomez denied it. In March 2011, she told Ellen DeGeneres, "He's little. He's like my little brother.

But the couple took their relationship public when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood together in February 2011. After that, the couple packed on the PDA during a romantic vacation to Maui, Hawaii and red carpet appearances.

In a September 2012 interview with Teen Vogue, Gomez downplayed the seriousness of her relationship with Bieber. "It's really fun. I'm lucky," she said. "I don't take anything in my personal life too seriously. I have great friends and a solid group of people I love. I feel like everything else will come organically." The singer added, "Marriage and all that other stuff I think will happen once I feel accomplished in every other aspect of my life."
