Jennifer Lawrence is a big, big fan of 7-year-old TLC reality star Alana Thompson.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Nov. 19, the actress admitted to causing a car accident "a few weeks ago" in Georgia, where she's currently filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

"I was driving home from work and I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo," the Silver Linings Playbook star, 22, explained. "It was a breast cancer parade. Now I know it said 'boobs' on [their shirts], but I thought it said 'boo boo.' So I was like, 'Does that mean it's Honey Boo Boo?'"

Lawrence continued: "I started craning my neck, and then I saw a little girl and was like, 'That's Honey Boo Boo!' I was still driving and then I rear-ended the person in front of me."

The worst part, Lawrence said, was fessing up to what happened. "I had to get out of the car and explain what happened," she said. "I was like, 'I'm sorry that I hit your family. I thought I saw Honey Boo Boo.'"

Lawrence's new movie, Silver Linings Playbook, is in theaters Wednesday, Nov. 21.

I would never have admitted that lol. Also no offense to her acting skills. But I don't know why they didn't pick someone for Hunger Games that at least kinda looked like Katniss ???

Jennifer looks great in this pic,I never realized she was that pretty.Jennifer really is the total package;beautiful,talented actress,down to earth,and awesome sense of humor!I'm a total bookworm so I love the Hunger Games books and I was really impressed with the acting in the movie especially hers. Can't wait to see Catching Fire when it comes out next year.By the way it's nice to know even celebrities get starstruck sometimes lol!
