Suri Cruise isn't Hollywood's only mini stylist.

Jennifer Hudson's 3-year-old son David Jr. (with fiance David Otunga) is equally fashion-forward, the American Idol alum reveals, offering his mother totally unsolicited fashion advice.

"We call him Boss Baby!" Hudson tells Lucky mag's January issue (on stands December 11.) "He says, 'Mommy, I don't like that,' or 'Momma, you look very pretty.'"

Confesses the Oscar winner, "I totally dress for my child! I have T-shirts with Popeye the Sailor Man on it, ones with different animals, comic book characters . . . "

Hudson, 31, also credits her grandfather with shaping her style in a major way.

"The most stylish person in my family was definitely him," she shares. "He'd take you into his closet and be like, 'Hey! You need to wear this, Jenny!' He was [never] dressed down, honey, his closet, his clothes, they were sharp. He would pick things out of his for me to wear and they were always perfect. That's why I love menswear."

Ever since her much-discussed 2010 slimdown, Hudson -- who says she's always adored fashion -- has had even more fun with clothing, experimenting with different looks to see what's most flattering on her new figure.

"It's like I have more room to play," the singer explains. "Sometimes I feel like I'm my own doll, dressing myself up. All of a sudden, a shirt can be a dress, you know?"

Her secret to keeping the weight off? Good old-fashioned exercise.

"Going jogging makes me feel powerful and free -- like Rocky!" Hudson exclaims. "In winter I do the treadmill, the Stairmaster, I like challenging things. I always say to myself, 'Just give me 10 minutes.' If I do those 10 minutes -- the next thing you know, it's 20 minutes -- I trick myself!"

At least hes stil in jennifer n his sons life..some of u guys r haters, I bet their happier than some of u married people!

Except they literally have been engaged since before they had a child together. So yes theyre engaged. And whether theyre married or not it doesnt matter. Who are you to say they need to get married before having any children? Theyre relationship is more stable than most marriages out there now. I think the focus should be on a healthy environment for the child and the family. Sad that people judge over the stupidest things. Start judging when theres domestic abuse or drug use or something else that actually matters. Until then fall off your high horse already.
