Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans surprised fans when she tied the knot with Courtland Rogers Dec. 4 following a two-week engagement.

The surprise union made some fans question if Evans had a bun in the oven, which she vehemently denied in a series of Twitter posts Dec. 5. "I'm not pregnant, I'm on birth control," she told one user. "Jesus, still only weighing 100 lbs over here."

When Evans, 20, tweeted that she was visiting her doctor the morning after her wedding, it only added fuel to the fire. "I had a psychiatrist appointment today," she clarified. "I'm not pregnant."

As rumors persisted, Evans attempted to set the record straight. "Courtland did not say anything about getting me pregnant or having kids anytime soon," she wrote on Sulia. "Over my dead body if I would be that selfish to have a baby before getting Jace back."

(The reality star's mother, Barbara Evans, has primary legal and physical custody of Jace, 3.)

Though Evans and Rogers got married at a local courthouse in North Carolina, they are planning to have another more formal ceremony. "We aren't having the actual wedding until the spring like how every other American usually does it," tweeted the MTV star, who has been arrested multiple times. "Duh." After tying the knot Dec. 4, the newlyweds celebrated at a local Olive Garden.

Evans' friends are wary of her husband, who spent four months in jail for larceny in 2011, and four months locked up in 2006. "Courtland is a bad influence," a friend tells Us Weekly. "He takes advantage of everyone."

Prior to marrying Rogers, Evans was briefly engaged to Gary Head. She was also in an on-and-off relationship with the oft-imprisoned Kieffer Delp. The Teen Mom 2 star began dating Rogers, who is a single parent as well, in September.
