Jason Hoppy has his game face on today. Within hours after reports surfaced that he had counter-filed aggressive divorce papers against his wife, Bravo star Bethenny Frankel**, the 41-year-old pharmaceutical executive stepped out solo in New York City.

Wearing khakis, a black peacoat, and a black knit cap, a very determined-looking Hoppy braved the frigid winter weather as he walked around Manhattan on Thursday, Jan. 24. His soon-to-be ex was also spotted out and about -- separately, of course -- with the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Bryn.

The Skinnygirl mogul's split from her husband took a turn for the worse earlier in the day, when TMZ reported that Hoppy had filed a long list of demands contesting her divorce filing from three weeks ago. According to the documents, he is seeking primary custody of Bryn, as well as child support and medical and dental expenses. (Bravo star Frankel, 42, requested the same thing of her ex, whom she wed in spring 2010.)

Hoppy's divorce filing also seeks "exclusive use and occupancy" of the couple's marital residence, a $5 million, four-bedroom apartment in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood. Additionally, he asks that Frankel maintain a life-insurance policy on herself that lists him and Bryn as beneficiaries.

The Place of Yes author previously vowed to remain on good terms with her ex for the sake of their daughter, but his aggressive divorce filing could complicate things, making a difficult situation even more so. "I feel like a failure," she admitted to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this month. "I really put it out there. I wanted the fairy tale. I thought I had it...This is excruciating, I have to say."

Totally agree, Bbthumper (and the post below urs but forgot their name). Women can't have it both ways. Wanting all the benefits (supposed benefits) of being a man and then not to have to deal with some of the negative aspects of this equality. And yes, to the other poster,neither of them need spousal support. Even my sister who makes about 40k as a teacher isn't getting spousal support from my soon to be ex-BIL and he makes about 200+k a year. So if she can't get it I don't think these guys need it, lol. Again, the only reason (my opinion only) that he is demanding this stuff is to show her the idiocy of her demands. Hopefully a judge will see thru the smoke and mirrors.

Jason has 5 million . Bethanny 100 million! Hope Jason at least gets joint custody. It's hard on all the children in America spending half the week with each parent. But this is life in America now. Most children don't have a father that cares. Lucky Bryn!!

Legally, they have guidelines they follow,it's Not Gender Bias, it's based on Many Things! I just (Don't Like) the Attacks to (Emasculate) Men! When he's the (Breadwinner)! Most people feel whatever she wants, she should get it ...okay, what if the Woman is the (Breadwinner)?! Oh he's (No Longer, a Man)! But a person had No Problem Marrying this Non Male, and was Totally fine with Spending His Money! But now, she wants Everything, He's No Longer A Good Man, with Bad Character, for wanting Anything! Life Insurance Policy, can't be held on a former spouse ...he will find that Out! She asked for Spousal Support, so Maybe, he did the same, he's well within his Rights! She have a PRE-NUP, and her Business was Established before him, so she's Safe, concerning that ...

I have no idea what his financial situation is...but if BITH are well off... I don't see why either should pay spousal support. As for child support-why not agree on an amount per month and BOTH pay an equal amount thats put into the child's bank account. That's IF both are financially comfortable. I think the life ins policy is outta line and beyond creepy.this is gonna be a huge,everlasting fight that we'll have to suffer thru via nonstop media

Oh Please! This isn't a case about Morality! This is! And will (Always) be about (Equal Rights)! Women want it (Until) it Effects them (Negatively)! But, do the Same job as a Man, and get Paid Less! Then you Cry Victims ...(of course), NOT Every Woman! Women have Fought Hard to be (Reconized) as Equals! That's why they're in Branches of Service! Weight Lifters! Judges, Lawyer etc. B. came Out so Aggressive on Hoppy, did she Really think it was Still, All just going to be Handed to her?! She have (Money), Not Only, can she Afford to pay for Everything she's asking for, But No, her Greed, is so Out there, Until she knows that that Apartment, is like pocket change, with her present and future profits...I say (Woman Up)! She fired the first shot, and Now she's Helpless and Wounded?! When he shot back?! Whatever! And as Far as A Bad Upbringing! She (Can't) continue to Use that as An Excuse!
