Hugh Hefner** and Crystal Harris** will be starting out the New Year right -- as husband and wife!

TMZ first reported that the couple had plans to tie the knot at the Playboy Mansion on New Year's Eve, and now it's been confirmed -- by none other than one of Hef's former flames.

Bridget Marquardt**, former Girl's Next Door star and Hefner's ex girlfriend, spilled the Playboy founder's wedding plans to E! News Thursday.

"Hef has a wedding in the works again," Marquardt, 39, said. "I just hope he's happy. I'm happy for him if he's happy." Though she won't be attending the nuptials, Marquardt added, "And New Year's Eve is a romantic time to get married. It's a romantic holiday. A good way to start off the new year."

On Tuesday, Dec. 4, Us Weekly confirmed that Hefner, 86, and Playboy model Harris, 26, picked up their marriage license from the Beverly Hills courthouse.

The two became engaged in December 2010, but Harris called off the wedding in June 2011 just days before the ceremony. But one year later, the couple reconciled in June 2012.
