The wedding must go on?

Though he was arrested Nov. 12 for allegedly assaulting bride-to-be Hope Solo, NFL star Jerramy Stevens and the gold medal-winning goalie went ahead and tied the knot just one day later, Sportsradio 950 AM and 102.9's Dave Mahler report. ("Events of yesterday morning didn't change plans," Mahler wrote on Twitter.)

Solo, 31, kept her plans to wed Stevens mostly secret; she and Stevens had been dating for two months before they applied for a marriage license Nov. 8. Though details about their somewhat-impromptu nuptials are unavailable, Solo's teammate Jillian Loyden sent a tweet implying she may have been present for the ceremony.

"Happy to witness such an amazing celebration of real love #selflesslove #fewandfarbetween," Loyden wrote Wednesday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, on Monday, police responded to a disturbance call at a private residence in Kirkland, Wash. Officers arrested Stevens, 33, on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. (He was discovered "hiding" upstairs, with dried blood on his shirt and signs of a fight around him.)

Solo appeared in court Tuesday; following her fiance's court date, the charges against the former Seattle Seahawks player were dropped.

Why is everyone ASSUMING he assaulted her? It was a pre wedding party and there were other people there. US never reports the entire story.

Hope she's a nut for marrying this jerk. Dated this jerk for only 2 months. He beats her how dumb. That's not love. Some women settle for any man just to say they have 1.

I'm going To need retract my comment! I've never heard of her, and it's true! Some women are at fault for attacking, but If the woman have one mark and cry wolf! The guy is going down! People need to leave drama, mean spirited, people alone! Life is hard and Stressful enough, and you're surrounded by Nuts! It could shorten his career, and she will be gone! Becareful, who you let come into your life! But, if he did do it! She's A Fool!

What happened during the fight. I havent seen any details so why are people assuming HE did something? It could have been her with her craziness lately. Hope had a cut on her elbow which could have happened if he had to restrain her or if he pushed her off of him or anything! Men get the short end of the stick in these situations and without info it's unfair. Either way both have made an idiotic choice to marry!

She's nuts. She probably attacked him. And it was self defense. Unfortunately in most cases the guy gets locked up. I read the charges were dropped. So it was prob nothing. She's crazy. She may have made it up like on DWTS.

Dang never imagined her to jump into a relationship so fast and then marry after 2 months really. Plus the assault this relationship is already doomed hope i had more hope for u until now!
