Frankie Muniz** is recovering from a health scare.

The Malcolm in the Middle actor, 26, tweeted surprising news Tuesday that he recently suffered a "mini stroke."

"I was in the hospital last Friday," Muniz tweeted. "I suffered a "mini stroke", which was not fun at all."

"Have to start taking care of my body!" he added. "Getting old!"

According to TMZ, Muniz was taken to an Arizona emergency room after friends noticed he was having trouble speaking.

Muniz will celebrate his 27th birthday on Wednesday, Dec. 5. The actor made a cameo appearance on the Oct. 23 premiere of Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23.

It's Menorrhagia not mennhorragia. It is not a type of stroke as you stated. It is not a general term for internal bleeding either. It is a specific medical term defined as menstrual periods in which bleeding is abnormally heavy or prolonged. Look it up.

He had what they refer to as TIA, these type still cause damage and can lead to a bigger stroke. My father in law had both types of strokes and both can be caused by restricted blood vessels. Glad they caught it in time and hopefully he will be monitored. Age doesn't matter when it comes to strokes, either.

First of all, the two major types of stroke are ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. Mennhoragic is not even a word. Did you mean menorrhagia? Bc that is heavy vaginal bleeding. Second of all my point was that you cannot know what caused his stroke and it's irresponsible to speculate. A nurse would know that. Maybe he has high cholesterol? Maybe diabetic? Hypertension? Maybe it was a combination of a hundred other possibilities? You sweetheart are wrong.

This is real news and yet it bearly says anything, but anyone getting a ticket their all over it!!! Smdh.. Stay of blood thinners thats what caused my grandmas.. Hope he gets better

Whoa! Very scary indeed. Time to make some big changes and keep a very close eye... Causes are v often not in your control. A stroke is when blood flow to part of the brain stops, not the heart.
