Eva Longoria has never been desperate for attention, but she raised quite a few eyebrows at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globes afterparty in Beverly Hills Jan. 13. The actress suffered a nip slip after she accidentally flashed her right breast while posing on the red carpet with her hairstylist pal Ken Paves.

Longoria's wardrobe malfunction aside, the Desperate Housewives alum, 37, had tongues wagging earlier in the evening when she donned a backless Emilio Pucci dress featuring a thigh-high slit and plunging neckline. The single star -- some compared her leg-baring moment to Angelina Jolie**'s 2012 Oscar look -- completed her look with Martin Katz jewels.

The actress didn't seem too bothered by her sartorial snafu, as Longoria shared pictures from the star-studded party featuring actress Hayden Panettiere and Olympic gymnasts Gabby Douglas and Aly Raisman.

Since Desperate Housewives ended its eight-season run in the spring of 2012, Longoria has kept busy by campaigning for President Barack Obama**. She will interview U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills on Saturday, Jan. 26.

I have never had an issue with Eva. I thought she was a pretty woman. But I have to say she just looks trashy in that dress. I lost respect for her now. Why do these women have to dress like that?! It's not beautiful or even sexy it's straight up trashy. The whole world does not need to see everything you got!!!! It does seem that the women wearing these dresses where everything is showing are desperate for attention. It's pathetic! Cover up put some clothes on already!! Dress classy not trashy.

@ SJane - I agree with you 100%, word for word! I hate when celebs get involved in politics. Encourage people to vote but quit trying to sway everyone to your agenda. And I have never like Eva but I honestly don't know why. Something about her rubs me the wrong way.

That's more like a hip high slit than a thigh high! I understand they feel like they need *** appeal to stay relevant...but IMO this is too much. I really don't care for the look. Call me a prude...but I think she could have chosen a better dress, showing a little less skin.
