Ellen DeGeneres, Leonardo DiCaprio and Selena Gomez: Why You Should Vote November 6
November 6, 2012

Election day is finally here!

In a new video on behalf of the nonpartisan voter engagement campaign Vote 4 Stuff, celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio**, Ellen DeGeneres**, Selena Gomez, Zac Efron**, Amanda Seyfried** and Jonah Hill** urge American citizens to get to the polls and make their voices heard. "Go vote for stuff you care about Nov. 6," DiCaprio implores.

When asked if they could change anything in the world, Seyfried jokingly responds, "Dogs would pick up their own poop." Hill, meanwhile, says he's "bringing back fanny packs. They hold your stuff and they look great."

"Vote against not texting me back," Efron says. "Or don't, because I don't really ever think about you anymore."

As for DeGeneres? "We have to end these terrible cupcake wars that I keep hearing about."

All kidding aside, there are many important issues that will be addressed this year, including immigration reform, marriage equality, climate change, the healthcare system and women's reproductive rights. "You can make your voice heard by voting on November 6," DiCpario says.

Other celebrities who participate din the PSA include Tobey Maguire**, Sarah Silverman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Benicio Del Toro**.

Your vote is your voice. Vote so your voice can be heard. Vote to effect change. Vote because you can. Others have died for this privilege, now it is your right. If you haven't already, go to your nearest polling station and get your votes in. Your opinions matter.

While in line I thought really why bother, it does not count and yet the people there thought their votes counted. Nice thought, but meaningless. Remember whoever you voted for good luck and I hope whoever wins. My choice is my choice and will stay that way. Let the best man win!!

Hope all who votes know that ur popular vote does not count, only the electorial vote counts. Whoever can win the popular vote and not the electorial vote and will lose. They should get rid of the electorial vote and only use the popular vote. It's our vote that should only count. Should, but it's sad it does not count.
