Demi Moore is sure celebrating her milestone 50th birthday in style!

Ahead of her actual Nov. 11 birthday, the actress jetted off to Abu Dhabi for a relaxing getaway with pals at the posh Monte Carlo Beach Club, a luxe hideaway in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.

In town the same weekend as the famed Formula One Grand Prix, Moore lounged poolside Nov. 3 with a small group of male and female friends in a cabana overlooking the ocean. "Demi seemed to be enjoying herself -- they all did," an insider at the Monte Carlo Beach Club tells Us Weekly of Moore and her party, who noshed on a brunch that included champagne and seafood.

R&R wasn't the only thing on Moore's overseas agenda. Following her stop at the Monte Carlo Beach Club, Moore jetted off to Jodhpur, India to attend the birthday bash Naomi Campbell** threw for boyfriend Vladislav Doronin. (Kate Moss, along with 200 other guests, also attended the two-day celebration.)

Back in Los Angeles as of Nov. 8, Moore seems intent on making her 50th birthday more of a memory than her previous big day. Last fall, the Margin Call actress' 49th birthday coincided with the end of her marriage to Ashton Kutcher**, who cheated on Moore with 22-year-old coed Sara Leal. Mother of three Moore confirmed their split on Nov. 17, 2011.

Now, an older and wiser Moore is looking on the bright side. "She's in a good place," explains a second source of Moore. "She's open to experiencing new things this year."
