Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama** are giving it another go. The couple, who have dated on-and-off since 2010, shared a romantic meal on Valentine's Day at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant in downtown L.A., a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.

"They ordered almost everything on the menu, but they didn't touch it for at least an hour," the source reveals. "They stared into each other's eyes the whole time." After nearly an hour, the 20-year-old X Factor judge and the 33-year-old Suburgatory guest star finished having a "really intense conversation" and moved onto their meal -- and plenty of "cuddling," the source says.

That same day, the on-again pair were spotted "making out" at the flagship grand opening celebration of Topshop and Topman's L.A. store, another insider adds.

Lovato recently opened up to the U.K.'s Cosmo on Campus about what she's learned about love over the past few years. "I'm in a place where I can finally trust and love and be a better person for the man I am in a relationship with, instead of being a clingy girlfriend or getting jealous," said the pop star, who sought treatment for depression and an eating disorder in 2010. "It is very unhealthy when girls devote all of their time to a guy and forget their friends and family. I did that. I was always looking for distractions because I was so afraid of being alone."
