Danny DeVito may have separated from wife Rhea Pearlman, but he doesn't consider himself a single man.

In October, the actor, 68, announced that he and Pearlman were going their separate ways after more than 30 years of marriage. Since DeVito shared the sad news, however, the Cheers alum has been photographed traveling together with Pearlman, 64.

Extra caught up with DeVito on Tuesday, Dec. 4 and asked how him how he has been adjusting to life as a single man.

"It's not something you adjust to," the actor, who stars on FX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, said. "Rhea and I are really close. Actually still together, just separate, but together."

Could there be a possible reconciliation?

"We're working on it," he shared.

DeVito and Pearlman married in 1982 and have three children together: Lucy, 29, Grace, 27, and Jacob, 25.

Ugh. Just (for some reason I can't even fathom) just read the more comments...you ppl are so seriously deranged it blows my mind. I'm personally glad that none of you know ME. I certainly couldn't hold up to your standards of perfection, nor do I ever deign to. If you have nothing to do but judge 60-something's who are trying to SAVE a 30 plus year marriage, I can guarantee that you either do not have a ring on your finger, you've pawned it for drugs, or you'll be divorced soon enough. Blech.

So things are clear, her name is RHEA, not Rita. Secondly, it sounds like you NEED to be dropping off pee samples regularly, whomever it is that's on a QUEST. Tard.

IVE ALWAYS LOVED THEM AS A COUPLE. ITS ADORABLE THAT 2 PINT SIZE PPL FOUND EACH OTHER IN HOLLYWOOD. SHORT PPL, AND IM 1 OF THEM, TEND 2 FALL 4 TALL PPL. SO I FIGURED THERE IS A STRONG ATTRACTION AND A LOT OF LOVE THERE. DANNY AND RITA 4EVER!!!
