Baby's first Turkey Day!

Thursday Nov. 22 marked Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson's inaugural Thanksgiving as parents to daughter Maxwell Drew, nearly 7 months old.

The singer and fashion designer, 31, marked the occasion the best way she knew how: With adorable snapshots of her hubby-to-be and their growing bundle of joy.

"I am so grateful for my new lil family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!" the Fashion Star mentor tweeted, linking to photos on her website of former NFL star Johnson with Maxwell -- strapped into a carrier across her dad's chest in one black and white shot, and, in another, wearing an adorable red parka with fur hood, light-colored pants and brown baby boots.

The happy trio were M.I.A. for a recent Simpson family gathering -- where Jessica's younger sister Ashlee Simpson**, 28, feted the fourth birthday of her son Bronx alongside ex-husband Pete Wentz, his model girlfriend Meagan Camper, Nicole Richie and daughter Harlow, and Tina and Joe Simpson. The family matriarch and patriarch, who announced their plans to divorce last month, kept their distance during the bash.
