Longtime New Yorkers Claire Danes** and Hugh Dancy braved the chilly, windy climes in NYC on Sunday Dec. 23 to take a walk near their downtown West Village apartment -- pushing their brand-new baby boy Cyrus in a stroller!

Although the couple's six-day old stayed completely concealed during the outing, Homeland actress Danes, 33, looked noticeably slim in an army-green parka, scarf, knit cap, black jeans and boots alongside her handsome British hubby, 37.

Given the full name of Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy, the little one was born last Monday Dec. 17 "exactly at 3 p.m." weighing just under seven pounds, the proud father reportedly wrote in an email to friends.

"Mother and baby are well, healthy and happy," Dancy added.

"We are very excited [for parenthood]," Danes said back in September, dding that she knows the new addition to her family will have a "profound change" on their lives. "We are going to love this person, I know that."

The Emmy winning-actress and Dancy -- they met on the film Evening -- wed in 2009.
