Cheryl Burke** is looking for love, and if the Dancing With the Stars: All Stars pro dancer has her way, she'll invite millions of TV viewers along on her journey as ABC's newest Bachelorette.

Backstage at the Nov. 12 taping of DWTS, Burke confirmed to Us Weekly that she's met with executives from the smash reality series to discuss a possible appearance. "I did meet with the execs but we'll see what happens. There hasn't been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me I would love to do it," she said.

For perpetually single Burke, 28, following in the footsteps of most recent Bachelorette Emily Maynard** would afford her the opportunity to mix and mingle in a new environment, increasing her chances at finding The One. "It sounds crazy, but I'm so married to my work that I rarely meet new people! I'm around the same people all the time, I've been on this show for nearly a decade," Burke explained of DWTS.

Citing her hectic travel schedule as a major reason why she hasn't found love, Burke is anxious to end her streak of bad boyfriends. "Over the summer I dated a couple of guys and it turned out all bad, so I just figured if someone were to make the choice for me then maybe I'd have a better chance of meeting someone good!" Burke -- who was linked to NHL star Joffrey Lupul earlier this year -- told Us.

Though there's plenty of time until ABC reveals its next Bachelorette -- Sean Lowe will appear as The Bachelor in January -- friends of Burke are rallying for her to get the gig.

"[The Bachelorette] would be a great experience for her to understand more about herself," Burke's pal and DWTS partner Emmitt Smith recently told KIIS-FM's Ryan Seacrest**. "Being on that show would probably give her a variety of personalities and let her find someone that truly fits her."
