Chelsea Handler's bi-coastal romance with hotelier Andre Balazs is most definitely on again.

The L.A.-based comedian, 37, and the New York-based Balazs, 55 -- who parted ways for the second time this year in August -- have been spotted out together at a number of different L.A. area hotspots lately (including Balazs' Chateau Marmont in mid-October).

On Friday, the newly-reunited duo packed on the PDA during a lunch at The Deck Restaurant in Laguna Beach, Calif.

"They were kissing a lot, [and were] very lovey-dovey," an eyewitness tells Us Weekly. "They seemed very relaxed."

At one point, Handler got up to take her dog for a quick walk along the beach, before re-joining her beau for more drinks.

Handler and Balazs first split in November 2011, after less than a year together, and reunited briefly in February. Two months later, Handler opened up to More magazine about rekindling their romance -- and learning about the commitment it takes to make a long-distance relationship work.

"My boyfriend, Andre . . . we just got back together literally yesterday," the late-night host revealed. "We had dated for nine months, a long-distance relationship with all the stresses and traveling and running around. It wasn't a real life; we weren't living together."

"So, Andre came to me yesterday and said, 'I think we have to try to make this work again,'" Handler shared. "And I agreed because we're still madly in love."
