Food poisoning! Ant infestations! Week-long flight delays!

The ghosts of (bad) Christmases past still haunt stars like Tori Spelling, Busy Philipps and Brian Williams. Below, they open up about their holiday horror stories:

Howard Stern: "My wife, Beth, and I went to Turks and Caicos and our hotel room was infested with ants. They were crawling on our bed -- we had to leave!"

Tori Spelling: "One year, I bought snow for a winter wonderland party. But in the morning, it rained -- totally poured. All the ice melted, so we had mud instead. It was awful."

Brian Williams: "I was held up in high school while selling Christmas trees out of the back of a truck. The guy took my whole cash box!"

Shawn Johnson: "I got stuck in the Cincinnati airport for eight days with my mother one year. Fortunately, we made it home on Christmas Eve, just in time!"

Busy Philipps: "My mother accidentally gave me food poisoning. She fed me baby carrots for a snack before Christmas dinner -- but they had expired in June! I threw up for the next 24 hours."

@Calliesue....that's awful, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you manage to enjoy at least some of the holiday season regardless of the pain and I hope you get the treatment you need ASAP. Best of luck to you

Whoa! They blanked out my 'kisses'. On my post after wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, I typed 'x x x' (3 x's) as in kisses and it was blocked out. So it looked like I said something bad. Not good!

I was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few weeks ago, because of insurance reasons we are stuck from being able to do treatments until after the holidays... The pain is horrendous but at least I get to spend the holidays with people I love!

My due date for my daughter was 12/21/2010. I didn't have her until the 28th. So that Christmas I was huge and miserable.

@Shelly....I'm sorry to hear about your fianc! I hope you're still able to enjoy time together, even if it is in the hospital. He's lucky to have you by his side. Thanks to all of you for you well wishes, I appreciate them and I'm feeling slightly better today. I've just gotta hold off one more day, then I can go to have it taken care of. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas ***

Thank you for all the prayers. He is actually going to be having a procedure to get a feeding tube put in so his pancreas can rest. He has a 10 year old son and he feels horrible not being able to spend time with him tomorrow.
