Beyonce Knowles is finally breaking her silence about Kanye West storming the stage at the VMAs to declare that she should have won Best Female Video instead of Taylor Swift.
"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'" Beyonce, 28, told O: The Oprah magazine editor at large Gayle King (via MTV News) at the Billboard Awards over the weekend, when she was named Woman of the Year.
"When they didn't call my name, he was, like, completely shocked," Knowles says. "And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'"
Knowles -- who handed the mic over to Swift after winning Video of the Year later that night -- continues, "But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment -- and I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."

After his outburst, West, 32, apologized multiple times on his blog, to Jay Leno and to Swift -- and declared he was taking time away from the public eye to "analyze how I'm gonna make it through the rest of this life and improve."
It was announced last week that his Fame Kills tour with Lady Gaga had been canceled.

hmmm...so i was rite with my initial reaction 2 beyonce's actions when this happened. this was all pre-meditated, she knew about it, she wasn't happy about giving up her speech time 2 taylor, and only did it 2 save face. the only reason she's sticking up 4 west is bcuz he spoke out in favor of her. had she won & he jumped up and defended lady gaga, beyonce wud b singing a different tune. it wud b 'Art Schmart'. west is arrogant, beyonce is self-centered. seems taylor is the only mature 1 outta the 3.

Wow..so B only let Taylor have her moment cuz she felt guilty..knowing this in advanced and stuff..plus she knew it would make her look good..I thought it made her seem classy at first but now knowin all this I'm not so sure!!!

He was standing up for art? Maybe she meant to say arrogence! Or perhaps self centered ******* What she said makes it known that she thinks taylor swift doesnt have talent! I would preferr taylor to beyonce any day. At least shes somewhat humble

hey! spongebob kicks azz! listen here little eddie, you do realize taylor sold more albums this last year than beyonce or kanye? so the girl must have some talent. i personally hated that beyonce video. her outfit was very unflattering. ANYWAY i too retract the statement about what beyonce did for taylor. fake fake fake! hey snogg, u remember when rap music was actually good and required talent??? ahhh the good ole days *sigh*
