Seth MacFarlane's Most Offensive Oscar Jokes: Watch Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron React
February 25, 2013

Will Seth MacFarlane be welcome at new year's Academy Awards? Jury's out. The Family Guy and Ted creator, 39, struck the wrong note with many viewers -- and celebrity audience members inside the Dolby Theatre -- with jokes that bordered on sexist, racist and homophobic.

During his "We Saw Your Boobs" song, for example, MacFarlane trilled with the Los Angeles Gay Men's Chorus, MacFarlane called out winners Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie **plus nominees Naomi Watts**, among others. As the cameras panned to the audience, both Theron, 37, and Watts, 44, looked visibly annoyed by the the number.

When the song was done, MacFarlane took pains to distance himself with the gay singers behind him. "Just so you know, I'm not actually a member of that chorus, I was just joining in at the end there."

Other controversial quips? See the roundup below and tell Us: What did you think of MacFarlane's performance?

"Our next two presenters, at least one is honest about being a former exotic dancer," introducing Channing Tatum** and Jennifer Aniston

"We have finally reached the point in the ceremony where either Javier Bardem**, Penelope Cruz **or Salma Hayek comes onstage and we have no idea what they're saying -- but we don't care, because they're so attractive," introducing Hayek

"This is a story of a man fighting to get back his woman who's been subjected to unthinkable violence -- or, as Rihanna and Chris Brown** call it, a date moive!

"To give you an idea of how young she is, it'll be 16 years before she's too young for Clooney," on Beasts of the Southern Wild's Quvenzhane Wallis, 9.

"And those of you who gave yourselves the flu two weeks ago to 'get there'? It paid off," jokingly commending the thin women in the room

"The film was a triumph and also a celebration of every woman's innate ability to never ever let anything go," on Zero Dark Thirty and its real-life protagonist Maya (Jessica Chastain**)

"I would argue the actor who really got inside Lincoln's head was John Wilkes Booth," on Lincoln

"The first time I saw him with all that dark facial hair I thought, my god, the Kardashians have finally made the jump to film," on Ben Affleck**'s beard.

I would watch Seth any day over Gervais. That was painful. I wish the Bond tribute had included a reunion of the living James Bond's. That would've been fun to see. Seriously not even Timothy Dalton?

I didnt watch the oscars because i think its ridiculous. The movies/people who get nominated and win suck and the movies tht people under the age of 50 actually watch dont even get noticed. I have no intention of watching any on the movies tht were

US needs to really start checking their stories. I'm really getting tired of y'all making sh@t up! The video was pre-recorded. It showed Seth watching the video with the rest of the audience! All the reactions, recorders from different shows for the affects of pissing off said person in song! Good lord, did US even watch it, or did you steal the story from another shady entertainment site that didn't watch it either!! SHAME!!

Everyone has been making a big deal about Seth MacFarlane and his jokes. He was kinder than I expected. If people can't handle his sense of humor, it's not going to slow him down. Yes, Seth MacFarlane does go too far at times and goes beyond the boundaries, but the Academy should have known that before they asked him to host. Just sayin....

This stuff is hilarious! If actresses don't want people talking about their boobs then they shouldn't show them.
