Let's hope fans of Ricky Gervais got their fill at Sunday's Golden Globes, because the Brit comic insists he's done hosting the annual film and TV awards fest.

Under strict orders from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (and the censors) not to curse, Gervais says that his opening monologue's jabs at Kim Kardashian, Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster helped make his third time at the mic memorable.

"The crowd were great this year too," the comic -- who was slammed for his offensive commentary on Charlie Sheen and Hugh Hefner, among others, at last year's show -- wrote on his blog. "I think they finally worked out that my gags only seemed rude and nasty but were actually not too scary at all. Or they were just drunker. Either way, it was fun..."

Still, the 50-year-old says he's had his fill of skewering Hollywood heavyweights.
"I've told my agent to never let me be persuaded to [host] again," he blogged. "It's like a parachute jump. You can only really enjoy it in retrospect when you realize you didn't die and it was quite an amazing thing to do."
Tell Us: Should Ricky host the Globes again?

He just called it like he saw it. He's a comedian walking that edge of decency is part of his job. They knew what they were getting when the hired him, so why have him tone it down?

I dont see the problem. To me he was quite funny. Maybe the spoiled pampered brats in hollywood should toughen up. Maybe lighten up. Either get their head out their asses and learn to take a joke. Not everyone is going to like them or kiss their asses. Sensitive babies.

Something tells me that there is a special place in Hell for narrow minded trolls like you.

He was funny as heck, very entertaining. Some in Hollywood have no sense of humor.

@KeeniajozMom~(loud Clapping) Well spoken!! I just love Ricky{''Are we having a laugh''} Gervais's raw grip on calling the phonyness out on those who deserve it. Refreshingingly funny and a great talent indeed*!!
