Here's a beauty don't: Lining eyes with a Sharpie permanent marker. But that's just what Taylor Swift did when she was in need of a makeup fix a few years ago.

"I was on a plane to Japan about two years ago and I had no makeup with me, so I went into the bathroom and I used a Sharpie to line my eyes," Swift, 20, told DailyMakeover.com.

The singer and newest CoverGirl spokesperson's impromptu makeup fix sparked a new obsession. "From that point on I started using liquid liner because I realized it was obviously pretty easy for me to do!"

However, Swift warns that fellow beauties in distress should not try her trick at home. "I definitely don't recommend drawing on your eyes with a Sharpie," she said.

Hahahaha! I've done that! I got to work and hadn't had time to do make up at home so I used a sharpie! The fumes burn your eyes! Lol!
